Caring for Someone with a Hearing Loss
This is a useful handbook. It deals with a wide range of problems that those with hearing deficiencies face on a daily basis, including difficulties in the home and in public places. It also explains some of the anxieties that occur with hearing loss.
There is a lot of information about useful products - both aroung the home and outside.
I would have appreciated more on the impact that living with a deaf person has on the partner. Whilst all sympathy must go to the one experiencing the loss, it can also be difficult to know how to respond, and there is an inevitable feeling of guilt at times.
