Editorial Reviews
Review
REVIEW: "An excellent and long overdue book which will be of interest not only to stroke survivors and their carers but also to healthcare professionals of all disciplines. It is not too technical and explains things simply without being patronising." - Donal O'Kelly, Former Director, Different Strokes. REVIEW: "It's a good read, covering all of the usual questions people ask. Congratulations to the authors." - Eoin M Redahan, Former Director of Public Relations, The Stroke Association.
Donal O'Kelly, Former Director, Different Strokes
"An excellent and long overdue book… It is not too technical and explains things simply without being patronising."
Sir John Harvey Jones, Stroke Survivor
"I consider this book absolutely essential reading for anyone who has suffered a stroke. Not only does it explain in understandable language exactly what has happened, but it also demonstrates very clearly that a stroke is not the end of life as we know it and that each one of us has every chance of revival if we all take its advice. I hope it becomes obligatory to all stroke survivors."

Stoke at your fingertips - worth a look.
Really easy to read but informative book. I was first given this book whilst on a university hospital based placement and found it very helpful. Book is divided up into chapters which each begin with some well presented information followed by FAQ under each heading. Definately a very user friendly book.
