as a nurse, new to renal medicine, i found this book immense help in learning about kidney failure. it explains in great detail, about all aspects of kidney failure. including, what it is, why blood tests are taken, diet and fluid balance,blood pressure, anaemia and erythropoitin, renal bone disease, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, transplantation, pschological aspects,and sexual problems. the book has given me a better understanding of kidney failure, and therfore has enabled me to answer client's questions.
