DR Mary Judge, Consultant Dermatologist, Royal Bolton Hospital
"It gets down to the nitty-gritty of atopic eczema management and addresses the questions that are most frequently asked in a clinical setting. If only there were time to answer them. This book is well-written and informative."

Customer Reviews
A very useful introduction to eczema and its management.
A very good first book for parents newly confronted with eczema. Much of the text is in question and answer format. Clear and concise answers are given on topics such as trigger factors, mangement, types of treatment, diet, hope of cure etc. The tone is positive and friendly and the information up-to-date. This is not the most detailed book available on the subject but it is an excellent introduction to the many aspects which parents of an atopic child need to learn about.
Accurate, relatively up-to-date, easily readable and helpful
A well-proportioned book based on the wit, wisdom and experience of three credible authors. We found this book fitted with most current dermatological thinking on eczema symptomatology, etiology and management. They write well for lay people (certainly not using the three words in the previous sentence) as well as avoiding patronism or over-simplification. There are sound strategies for coping, helpful tips and realistic goals. I would recommend this book for any parents who, like us, are trying to improve life for the child with eczema and their family.
