Average customer review:Product Description
In the USA the major cause of death in dogs is owners having them put down because of behaviour problems, a third of the dogs abandoned in the UK have been left for the same reason. The author, a pet behaviour therapist, explains how the way we live and interact with dogs is often counter-effective because we are not understanding behaviour from the dog's perspective. Using proven and simple strategies, this guide aims to help turn unmanageable dogs into the perfect pets.

Customer Reviews
A Clearer understanding of what makes a dog.
Ain't Misbehavin' was recommended to us by our local vet. The wording is fairly clear and the illustrations lighten what could otherwise become a very intense book. Mr Appleby's real-life descriptions are thought provoking. The chapters are well laid out and not so long that you loose interest.
After reading this book we have re-educated ourselves and retrained our dogs. The approach shown by David Appleby has improved our dogs behaviour dramatically. You could almost say that now they ain't misbehavin'. We have gained a greater insight into our dogs behaviour and now have an even greater bond with them. It just goes to prove that you can own dogs for over twenty years and still learn more about them.
We are now intrigued by Canine Psychology and have gone on to read other books but none have been as clear and easy to relate to as Ain't Misbehavin'.
