Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them who they have left behind.' When Susan Cilyk finally reaches Rainbow Bridge to be reunited with her four-legged friends, what a welcome she'll receive from the menagerie of cats who've shared her life! For fifteen years Susan has opened her home (and heart) to a procession of felines: from the elusive Katy to the coffee-loving Twinkle, from Thomas with his cauliflower ears to Posey with her plastic string 'comfort blanket', they are all here, recalled with astonishing clarity and humour; gone from Susan's life, but never from her heart.

Tears and Laughter
As with any book of this nature cat/animal lovers will move from tears to laughter and back again. Well written with a worthwhile reminder that despite the distress in losing a beloved pet it is more than repaid by whatever time you share, even if sometimes that is only short. A lovely book that any animal lover will enjoy
Rainbow Bridge
A really lovely book - the author helps out at the CPL and her love for all her cats shines through every word. Wonder there is any chance of a sequel!
A must-read for feline fans
A poignant and moving reminder of how much joy and pleasure cats can give us in return for our care, love and understanding. Written in an easy, conversational style, this book is an excellent read for friends and admirers of felines. It brought back many happy memories of my cats that have sadly since passed on to the Rainbow Bridge.
