Cats like it and it looks good
I bought one of these 13 years ago for my two kittens. They loved it, either for sleeping inside or sitting on the top, when the lid section used to fold down to make a comfy 'dish' from which they could survey their territory. As they got older and heavier, the side where the doorway is started to collapse when they sat on the top. As adult cats they continued to use the bin as a retreat. It washes well and dries quickly though after 13 years it's beginning to show its age. Enjoy the look on visitors' faces when you and your partner say "Where's the cat?" "Asleep in the bin as usual!"
