Product Description

Enter the belly of the beast with the Mario Brothers! In his evil plot to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, Fawful tricks Bowser into eating a magic mushroom. The mushroom causes Bowser to begin inhaling everything around him, including Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach! Do the Mario Bros. have the guts to rescue Peach and escape?

  • Players are in control of two separate storylines. One features Bowser and his efforts to stop an arch-villain from taking over his castle.
  • The microbe-sized Mario & Luigi must muscle their way through challenges and keep their nerve if they want to find a way out. They take action to control Bowser from the inside - but without his knowledge.
  • Players can switch between storylines at will. What happens inside Bowser affects what he's doing on the outside. Sometimes Mario & Luigi must solve puzzles and challenges behind the scenes to help Bowser overcome various obstacles and advance the plot.
  • Players must make well-timed button presses to enhance their performance during battles and challenges.

Customer Reviews

Even more wacky and funny then the last one!5
I thought that Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time was a most excellent rpg so when I heard the sequel Bowser's Inside Story was coming out I just knew it was going to be brilliant too. The story is hilarious with the Toad people from the Mushroom Kingdom becoming ultra massive fat balls which just roll around causing mayhem and panic. Mario and Luigi get to explore inside of Bowser's body and together they all work as a very strange team indeed. There are many nice neat touches to this well thought out rpg which will have Mario fans going wild with excitement. The graphics look great for a ds game and yes this is the best Mario rpg yet!

fantastic games, this is up with the best5
There are not many (If any) poor Mario and Luigi Nintendo games, this is no exception.

Graphics and game play are superb.

The game appears almost endless, with two games woven in to one, you can play Bowser or Mario and Luigi, It has a similar game play as Mario Partners in time but better Official Nintendo Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time Player's Guide.

My five year old loves it, that is the most important thing to me, He is playing it as I type with his eyes wide open and a massive grin on his face

Mario land, Mario 64 are fantastic games, this is up with the best.

The Bowser Show5
First off, this is a Mario RPG in the same vein as the two previous ones Superstar Saga and Partners in Time. Therefore if you are looking for a platformer, this is not the game for you.

This will be familiar to those who have experienced Partners in Time, as it is very similar, except you don't have the babies with you. Instead of fighting with the babies, you get to fight as Bowser- and that is the main focus, with Mario and Luigi among other members of the Mushroom Kingdom inside Bowser's body after being inhaled it is Bowser who spends most of the time exploring, linked together with a brilliant and truly funny script that keeps the game entertaining.

The battle system is a turn based RPG, with a choice of (for Mario and Luigi) the traditional jump attack, a hammer attack or a special attack using items such as fire flowers and shells. With Bowser you can use a punch attack, flame attack and inhale, which allows the battle to switch to Mario and Luigi. The system is simple to learn but remains fun throughout.

Bowser makes a good lead in this game, and it would be very welcome if he returned to that role sometime. This is a great game, and worth a play.
