A great album5
I've seen CIWWAF live and they are very very good, the songs are very catchy and fantastic lyrics (regardless if they mean anything and so forth) you'll be singing along in hours. I found the band on the soundtrack to NHL 2007 ("There's a class for this") downloaded a few other tracks (curse of curves, finger twist & spilt, teasing to please) and i was hooked, this album is great and i can easily say that there is not many other albums out there that i can listen all the way through without skipping a track, the only question is...will the 2nd album be able to better this?

Well worth it if you can get it for a good price

Im selfish, but your givin me a run for my money!4
Any fans of emo/punk out there who have grown up and out of the arrogant self-importance of adolescence (of which the author of the review entilted CUTE clearly has not!) upon hearing this album will see that it achieves exactly what emo/punk is all about, and does it quite well.

The point of reviewing albums on here is to give a realistic impression to potential buyers of what they can expect. It is not (as CUTE has done) to vent a personal vendetta against a genre of music or a certain generation of bands jus because of their commercial nature. Therefore, the CUTE review is unhelpful, egotistical and pointless.

Cute Is What We Aim For's sound can be described as Panic! At The Disco without the disco. Anyone into bands such as Taking Back Sunday, Fallout Boy, Panic!, Dashboard Confesisonal or the other many well known emo/punk bands of the moment is likely to enjoy this album. "Theres a Class For This" is a simple catchy sing-a-long and is quite likely to become a popular tune (which contrary to popular belief, is not actually a bad thing!). Other tunes such as Risque, Teasing to Please and The Fourth Drink Instinct are also very good quality emo/punk songs. Generally the whole album is full of catchy radio friendly songs which will ensure Cute Is What We Aim For rise to stardom in the near future.

Emo is not all about showing how complex a musician you are, its about music that grabs you by the throat and makes you listen, and to be fair the lyrics do not sound like they are tryin to be clever for clever's sake half as much as Panic! At The Disco's do, but none of us are bad mouthing them are we, cus theyre good too! Cute Is What We Aim For may not yet be as brilliant as bands like Taking Back Sunday but jesus lets give them a chance to be.

The bottom line: if you like popular emo or even less well known emo give the band a go, the album is good.... They may not be the best thing since sliced bread but im sure the author of the CUTE review can do no where near as good.....

enjoy this album

Brilliant Album, Most People Just Don't Get it!5
This is one of my fave albums. The main reason is because of the lyrics, thet are amazing! CIWWAF write their songs about teenage life, and it is so true! The songs mention the problems of alcohol, social awcudeness(spelling), relationships, friendships, sex and rejection. To me there arn't many other albums out there with this much depth! It cries out uniqueness, and I love it for that! But I will say that this is quite an emo album, well it is from the same record label of Panic! and FOB etc... If you like emo, you'll like this.
