Great introduction to systems thinking and the principles of a learning organisation

Glabraith is classic, this is pretty hardcore, but it's also quite approachable and less jargonny than most

Buckminster fuller is probably the best systems thinker I've ever read, not strict org design, but essential reading I'd say.

Useful space book

Much more concise than the above book on culture and orgs, but still not beginners reading!

Excellent book on organisational purpose, refreshing look at strategy

Great introduction to organisation design, and good unbiased comparison of different appproaches to it, including organisation design models

Very in-depth and up to date management theory

Geeky organisation design book, tough going, very techy

Some notions are slightly outdated in this book, but it's a good overview and introduction to the world of organisational behaviour and change theory
