Editorial Reviews
Manufacturer's Description
The Lowrider packs a monster 40mm Power driver in a super small lowrider chassis.
With its smooth styling, 90 degree swivel DJ style speakers and a unique fold up headband for ultra portability the Lowrider will roll all over the competition. Ian said it best: Sometimes, good guys don't wear white. We designed more than a dozen colors of Lowrider - in addition to white - to avoid even the appearance of evil. So be good. Hang on. Get LOW.

Customer Reviews
Very pleased!
My son was set on these for Xmas to go with his new i-pod, I read the reviews and was fairly put off by some of the comments. However, he was adamant and I purchased them through an Amazon retailer (very fast delivery).
My son is delighted - they look great, feel comfortable and he is particularly pleased with the ajustable ear pieces - he can hang them round his neck and angle the ear pieces upwards to listen to his music.
I haven't noticed any noise leakage when they are over his ears. I can't comment about the quality of sound - does that really matter when you're playing 'Slipnot'?
bad quality plastic
The sound is great but the plastic linking the headphones broke in less than a month with no apparent reason, it had not been submitted to any ill treatment
Poor, poor quality
I bought these headphones for my son's birthday. They looked great and were a reasonable price, but only lasted 1 day before they broke!! I actually watched it happen. Not through mis-use, but simply by putting them on. I've since read other reviews and there seems a common theme, where these headphones always seem to snap at the headband.
The guarantee from Skullcandy seems great. If they break under normal conditions they will replace them. If they break under severe mis-use they will refund 50%. I have sent them back and still await an outcome, but am left wondering that if there is a definite flaw with the design of this model, as proven by many reviews, then what happens when the replacement pair breaks? Does the cycle of return and replace keep going??
I think this is something the manufacturer and the vendors of this item need to consider soon.
To save yourself the hassle of entering this scenario - don't buy these headphones - buy another model instead!
