The CrushGrind ceramic mechanism is fully adjustable – allowing you to choose the coarseness of your grind. The ceramic mechanism will not corrode; it has passed a durability test equal to 200 years of usage! All mills come with a 25 year warranty on the mechanism.

    Very Good For The Price3
I cook a lot of curries from scratch, using spices and seeds rather than ready prepared mixes.

This means grinding a lot of spices together, which when done by hand with a mortar and pestle can become rather uncomfortable, so a spice grinder was needed!

The Typhoon has a very large capacity and can fit more than enough spices for an eight person curry, it's selectable grind size is very handy and allows you to get the exact grind you need for the dish at hand.

The two problems I've had with it though are the fact it doesn;t cope with larger spices very well, such as chillies and the fact that prolonged use does cause a considerable amout of pain! (But then that's to be expected from a manual grinder).

I would reccomend this to anyone after a cheap grinder, but if you can afford to - go for an electric one with a better mechanism.

This is a great product.. However you can get it for £2.99 right now at most TK Maxx stores with a Kitchen Dept!

Excellent grinder. Not electric or battery powered

Works really well when you realise that the jar is for the whole spices and the lid is where it comes out! (Not the other way round). The glass should be at the top.

I've ground whole cassia and cinnamon as well as coriander, peppercorns and sea salt.
