A lively, soul searching reach for a dream.
As an American, this book introduced me to the lifestyles of Scotland and the Shetland Islands. I also learned of the intricacies of purchasing lighthouse property in another country. New to me was the use of e-mail as the text of a book - a modern day method of blending the old (bound text) with the new (computer communication). It was easy reading with a personal touch. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys lighthouses in general or success stories. It is proof positive that persistance does pay off. I look forward to reading more about this couple's move into "retirement".
