Flex those surfing muscles
As an owner of Vol 2 for Yoga for Surfers I progessed quickly to Vol 3 - wooo, vol 3 is twice as long than Vol 2 and has far more to learn, it feels like it should have been split in to Vol 3 & Vol 4.
I prefer the instruction in Vol 2 to Vol 3 as Vol 2 was mainly indoors on a mat, where vol 3 is outdoors showing other surfers doing the moves as well which is quite distracting when there's good surf in the background and people walking around.
Other than that it's a good Yoga DVD and shall keep me going for hours.
This DVD is good for anyone with a little bit of Yoga knowledge.
nice and bendy
As a surfer with stiff limbs I decided to give this a whirl. And yes, it's very good. Moves along at a good pace and introduces routines that are easy to remember, which gives a solid foundation in Yoga basics.
I found that after a few weeks I wanted to try different positions not covered in the DVD and this is where I turned to a book that I could refer to.
So I think that's the key - this book inspires us to build the basic foundations - and then it's up to us to research and put the blocks on top. One DVD could never do that on it's own.
I'll score it a 4 and say that I'd definitely recommend it.
Only for experienced lovers of yoga
This one is quite tough! I'd only recommend this if you have done lots of yoga - not for a beginner. Great if yoga is your thing though!
