AN AMAZING PRACTICE JIVAMUKTI STYLE5
I went to a Jivamukti workshop in Lincolnshire with a lady called Andrea. I had never come across this practice before, but absolutely loved the complexity of it, so I decided to buy this dvd.

The two instructors are the founders of Jivamukti yoga and I had the option of having the female or male voiceover. Both of these were relaxing and soothing.

The practice itself is 60 mins long and it is difficult to master initially because asanas are held for longer periods of time. The shoulderstand and headstead are held for 25 breathes and I never realised how slow that was!! It is an invigorating practice and initially I felt I didn't 'get on' with it. However, I now found that I feel liberated and strangely invigorised after the practice, which includes meditation and relaxation at the end.

The music is beautiful and is played on original instruments in the background and really makes this dvd top dog in my estimation.

This is nice but very basic3
This is an introduction to Jivamukti suitable for someone who has never done any yoga. The class is structured to be very physically gentle. However, I did think that aside from the physical simplicity of the class, that there could have been more subtle details about the asanas. I have taken several Jivamukti classes and they are usually both more vigorous and detailed than this video, so I was surprised. As a regular practitioner of yoga, I would recommend the instructional DVDs that focus on particular sequences rather than this very general practice.

Good dvd but only really covers the salute to sun sequence and not a lot else. The presenteres voices are a bit irratating and put me of a bit.
All in all not too bad.
