Editorial Reviews
Review
Recently we have seen more and more aboriginal designs in the UK particularly with companies like Aussie Dreams bringing us some fantastic aboriginal styled fabrics. Number 32 in the Design Source Book Series from Search Press, this is a great book with a super variety of aboriginal designs which can be photocopied and used for applique, quilting designs, embroidery or fabric painting. The designs include animals, birds, figures and traditional aboriginal symbols, ideal for creating an unusual quilt or wall hanging. --Fabrications, Issue 50

colourful
A wonderful book with lots of photocopiable images for children to colour and decorate. Fits well with yr4 unit in literacy - cultural stories and QCA Art unit looking at journeys.
Aboriginal Designs
I gave it as a present to an artist who was very pleased. However, I would have preferred more coloured designs as inspiration rather than just black and white outlines but then I don't like coming out of my comfort zone so I'll just have to use some imagination.
