Editorial Reviews
CD Description
Live CD/DVD package of London based, Pete Doherty fronted indie group Babyshambles. The concert was recorded during thewinter leg of the UK arena tour at the SECC Glasgow on the 2nd of December 2007 and features hits such as 'Albion' and 'Delivery'. Ex-Libertines singer Doherty shows that he has lost none of his edge and musical/lyrical creativity as he and his band unleash jangly guitars and fierce punky rhythms for a mesmerised crowd.

This one's for Stookie McB_st_rd
Bought this not really knowing what to expect but the dvd's production values are top notch, and the band sound great (not easy at a venue like the Glasgow SECC which has acoustics like the inside of a washing machine.)
Ace, and worth it for 'There She Goes' alone
Oh what an amazing cd / dvd!!!!!
Perfectly demonstrates the intense live performances of Babyshambles and how well their music conveys live. Impossible to stop watching and a must have for all Shambles fans and general music connoisseurs. I have not heard a live dvd as good as this for ages
Oh What a Lovely C.D.
Pete Doherty is a class act, & surely one of this countries finest rock & roll performers. I only started listening to Pete last month after he got arrested for drink driving, & drug possession in my county, & as I am begining to understand after reading one of his biographty; "Last of the Rock Romantic's", his personnel journals;"The Book of Albion", watching hundreds of youtube clips & buying all his albums to date, this is a pretty normal day in the life of Pete Doherty. Pete has a great talent for song writing, & putting the rock & rolling back into music. To judge him on his drug addiction is missing the point of Pete & what makes him who he is to his fans, but to judge him after listening to/ watching "Oh What a Lovely Tour" you can't go to wrong. This is a great package that captures the babyshambles on the reoad following up possibly their best studio ablum to date "Shotters Nation". This performce showcases most of their finest live tracks & crowd pleasers F**kForever, Killamngiro, Albion, You Talk & Beg, Steal & Borrow. I'm glad to see no liberteens tracks played, cause I believe the work being produced by the Shambles is of a far greater quality to that of the Liberteens & this recording goes someway to proving that by not having to playing any Liberteens stuff to support their own material. It's a must have, which does not disappoint, I was not a fan before buying this CD/DVD, but now after I am the proud owner of tickets to see Pete play to promote his solo work in Manchester & see the babyshambles play in Bath. This CD has gone a long way to building the hype before I get to see them live. Cracking performce, super value & a CD I will be playing for a long time to come.
