The best book on self-hypnosis - you can learn with this book5
The book is excellent as it gives 30 practical methods of self-hypnosis, which are specifically aimed at different complaints. So for example, you get a method particularly good for insomnia, others for stress, others to give energy, others for health. It really is 'step by step' too, with each technique numbered in stages. The way the book is laid out is clear, easy to use and understand, the simplest techniques are at the beginning 'The tick-tock technique' for example, with more 'advanced' and time consuming methods towards the back of the book.

If you want to learn how to hypnotise yourself - then get this book! I have found most of the methods very useful - of course each individual is different. For me the tick-tock technique, the total void, the niagara falls, black fishes, thousand suns, the breath, pitch-black, heaviness, flame and sk techniques all worked a treat.

Because it is really a 'how to' book, there isn't that much on theory and some of the more wacky methods (the author has invented his own 'SK' method & autowriting is in there) get a mention.

A brillant book for any body starting self-hypnosis.5
I have had this book for about two days now and I think that it is fantastic. I have already used a couple of the methods to relax myself- they worked. The techniques are simple and easy to follow. This book is ideal for people who have just started out on the practice of self-hypnosis. The book also gives some good examples of how hypnosis has been used in various different cases. Apart from the 30 techniques of of how to do self-hypnosis the book also gives quite alot of good information on hypnosis. I would recomend this book to any body who would like to improve their life style, confidence and give up a habbit through self-hypnosis. how ever, it takes practice!
