Controlled by whose radio?
I bought one of these. For some reason it thinks the time is two and three quarter hours ahead of the actual time. Nothing will make it tell the right time for more than a few hours. It updates with the wrong time in the middle of the night - not good for an alarm clock!

I live three miles from greenwich so its not the signal.

Silent night radio controled alarm clock.
The best alarm clock I've ever owned. After a week I ordered another one for my wife's side of the bed. They both syncronise with the atomic clock, sowehere way down south. Keeping the right time exactly! This battery operated clock,and the battery lasts about a year. The clock changes automatacly at around two in the morning at the time our clocks go back o forward each year. Fantastic! I own a Casio watch that does exactly the same, its supposed to be acurate to a second in a million years? And it's sola powered as well. Perhaps Amazon sell them too. Why not get yourself into the real world? Go for this nice sized clock. It's silent, and that's a key feature as far as I'm concerned. In fact that's the very feature I was looking for.

The wrong time
These clocks are a great idea but the problem is that the radio network that it connects to to reset itself every day is in the UK - not much use for someone living in France, as I do. They should advertise that fact for international sales.
