About the Author
Frank Kane is one of the UK's leading all-rounder judges, approved to award Kennel Club Challenge Certificates in some forty breeds. He is approved to judge Best in Show at Championship level as well as the Gundog and Utility groups. Frank owned his first Cocker Spaniel, a blue roan, in 1961, while a schoolboy. He began exhibiting soon after. He has been involved with Cocker Spaniels ever since. Frank has travelled extensively and judged worldwide. He is a regular contributor to the canine press.

Cocker Spaniel Owner
As a Merry Cocker owner, I am constantly consulting this little book. It is very informative, and the author manages to cover all areas of Cocker ownership, from the origins of the breed through to health care, very thoroughly. It does not get too technical but always seems to answer any question I may have in layman's language - which is refreshing nowadays. I highly recommend it if you are thinking of becoming, or already are a Cocker Spaniel owner.

Really Useful
I really like this book and its really useful. It's plain talking and to the point and clearly written by a man that knows and loves cockers. I'd definitely recommend this book it really helped me with my cocker pup.
