Synopsis
Over the past 13 years, Marta Williams has worked with clients (people and the animals in their lives) to resolve behaviour and training problems, find lost animals, assist animals that are ill or dying, and helped animals get along with each other. In the course of her work, she has come to believe that anyone can learn to communicate with animals and with nature. This inviting book offers readers techniques and exercises to tune in and learn this language.

Thought provoking and inspirational......
I love this book and it is staying on my bookshelf for dipping into over and over again. On reading this I have deepened my relationship with my pets. Before reading this I was already a great believer in that spiritual connections between man and his companion animal whether that be a rabbit, horse, dog or cat or elephant and that we can all connect better with animals and understand their language if we just take the time to do it.
This book is good for anyone who is interested in learning to connect more with their pet. Its gives useful suggestions how to develop intuition and connection with your pet and includes a number of interesting case study stories involving horse whispering etc.
A must for all true animal lovers.....
A complete how-to guide for beginners
This is the best guide I've read about learning how to communicate with animals. There are many good and inspiring books on the subject, but this is the only one to give you exercises you can do at home without animals. The author provides photos of her own animals and some questions (with answers in the back - but no peeking now!). There are a few stories about people's experiences with communication, but the bulk of the book consists of exercises so that you can learn the skill yourself.
The author doesn't pretend it's easy, but she does make it look achievable, and leads you to think that animal communication is not some weird, out-there mystical belief, but a practical skill that can be learned, if you put the time in. She also provides an extensive bibliography for those who want to go deeper into the subject. Read the others for nice stories, but read Marta Williams for practical information!
