Quiet and quick
This was bought as a replacement for a 12 year old single foil electric razor that was starting to take too long to do the job.
This is quieter and faster and does indeed give a good wet-shave feel, though I am finding the neck suffers from shaving rash more than previously. To be fair though, the booklet that comes with this shaver says that it can take 2-3 weeks before you get used to it, though it doesn't actually say why.

Lite & Shaves close
Such a difference from my old philips shaver; cleans with warm water and gives a realluy close shave; almost makes shaving enjoyable....

philips HQ7180 rotary shaver

I have been using electric razors for more than 40 years and the results from this model are far superior to any I have used.I would say that a wet shave could not give a closer shave. It is difficult to see how any improvement could be made to the performance of this razor.
