The Juice Master’s Ultimate Spring Cleaning Plan
The following eating plan is a suggestion and will not be for everyone, but if you manage to get into the right frame of mind where you’re as happy as organic pie to follow it, the rewards are quite simply remarkable. I suggest you follow the plan once every three months. There’s just no question that your hair will shine, your eyes will sparkle, you’ll lose excess weight if you need to, you’ll tap into a level of energy you haven’t had in years, your nails will be stronger, you’ll be calmer and your thinking will become razor sharp – not bad rewards I’d say.
The chances are you have a massive build up of rubbish in your digestive system and clearly some of the nutrients, even in juice, will not be able to get through to do their job. So in order to give your fast food the fast track it needs, you need to begin the plan with a mini fast.
Days 1-2
The 2-Day Water and Lemon/Lime Cleanse
Yes that means you should have nothing else for 2 days, just water. Each day have at least 5 litres of water with slices of lemon and lime in it. Hot water with a few chunks of lemon or lime is particularly good – especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Whenever you feel hungry have some water – don’t forget to carry some with you if you need to go out.
There are also some breathing exercises in the book that are an important part of the cleansing process so check them out.
Make sure you rest as much as possible and sleep, sleep, sleep. It sounds difficult to go without food for two days – but it is only two days and it is for your benefit. If this really is too daunting, you can do one day and then continue as follows.
Day 3
Drink only Water and Vegetable Juice
On day 3 you need to have at least 3 litres of water, again with lemon and or lime slices. You should have 2-3 pints of vegetable juice. Remember to drink your juice slowly.
Try the Dy’Sun
Apple and carrot juice base – as much as you like
1 palm-sized raw beetroot
2 sticks of celery
1.2 a medium cucumber
Good handful of spinach
Juice the lot, stir, pour and enjoy!
Days 4-5
Water, Organic Apples and the JM Complete
During day s4 and 5 you can eat – hooray! Hang on; don’t get too excited, I haven’t finished. You can eat… organic apples. Other than that you need to drink at least 3 litres of water with lemon/lime and have 3 pints of my ultimate vegetable smoothie, The Juice Master Complete.
Once again drink plenty of either hot or cold water with lemon or lime when you first wake up and before you go to bed.

The Juice-Master Complete

All you need from A to zinc

½ a lemon/ ½ a lime/ ¼ pineapple/ 4 apples/ 8 carrots/ 2 large handfuls of spinach/
1 small raw beetroot/ ½ cucumber/ 2 sticks celery/ small head of broccoli/ ½ a pepper (any colour)/ 2 inch square piece of fennel/ 1 bunch of parsley/ 1 bunch of watercress/
¼ inch cube of finger/ 1 small ripe avocado/ ½ tsp of Udo’s oil (optional)/
1 heaped tsp of ‘live’ acidophilus powder (optional) 1 teaspoon of lecithin granules/
1 teaspoon of wheatgerm powder (optional)
Prepare the fruit and vegetables. Blend at low speed for just 30 seconds.
Days 6-7
Two Natural Days
This is where I actively encourage you to eat but, as you’ve been cleansing, the last thing you want to do is load your system with processed food. For days 6 and 7 you may eat and drink as much as you like, but make sure it’s ‘live’ and natural. The only fruits I encourage are apples and berries, but no fruit juices or smoothies. Make sure you have your 3 litres of water. Make a point of having at least one large avocado salad with lemon/lime dressing.
Even when you’re not following the cleansing plan, I would encourage you to have a ‘natural’ day once a week, every week – it really does make a huge difference to your energy and lifespan.
Days 8-21
Easy on the Man-Made Carbs and Skip the Wheat and Yeast
This period is about consolidation, so I want you to avoid a few things that are hard work on the body. I’m not a ‘no-carbohydrate’ guy… However that doesn’t mean I’m a fan of ‘man-made’ carbohydrates such as such as bread, pasta, white rice etc. So try wheat and yeast free breads and pastas.
So for days 8-21, eat as much fruit as you like, drink plenty of water and vegetable juices, have plenty of delicious salads and soups, and some cold-water fish like sardines, mackerel and salmon.
Warning!
Have you noticed that when you are having a real mother of clean in your house that it looks ten times worse before it looks better? This is what happens when you open the cupboards and start clearing out the mess. Your body is the same. When you ‘clean house’ it is not unusual for the first few days to get headaches, feel tired and have disrupted sleep patterns. These are all good signs, although they might not feel like it, and are just part of the process of getting rid of toxins. You will not automatically get these side effects - many people feel good from the start.

Much more than a book on juicing5
He goes by the name The Juice Master and there is no question he is the master at what he does. After reading his amazing first book, Slim 4 LIfe,I didn't think he could possibly do an equal follow-up - I'm pleased to say I was wrong. This book is a must for anyone wanting to get into juicing or just better health. The recipes are all delicious, but the real gem is the clear advice given on how to clean your juicer fast, how to set up your kitchen and all the info on how to prepare your fruits and veg for juice or blending. There is also the usual Juice Master humour and plenty of information that makes you think.

The way he explains things makes understanding even the most complicated of subjects easy.

I don't know what else to write other than - THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN JASON FOR AN AMAZING BOOK!

My name is Jason Vale and I am the author of this book. I don't usually look at my own reviews, but decided to take a little look.
I wrote this book some time ago and I have to agree with some of the comments. The recipe names are extremely bad puns and I cringe myself when I look back at them. I have changed them, but that won't be until the next print run. I have never pretended to be the best writer in the world and I write my books with everyone in mind. One comment I don't agree with at all is the one about this book being copied from Leslie Kenton. I think Leslie is a great author of health, but my books and hers are very different. You will notice that I have only given my own book 3 stars. That's because I feel that's all the book is worth at this time and I have written better books since. For the price you really can't go wrong. If the book inspires even just one person to better health then it was worth writing it. As it is the book has sold over 100,000 copies and I know from our postbag it has helped thousands. If you do get this book I hope it inspires like it has for many. For those who didn't like it, I hope my often poor command of the English language, hasn't put you off juicing. Best juicy wishes to all. Jason Vale

The Juice Masters Slim4life: Freedom from the food trap5
This is one of the best books on the subject I have ever read. In fact the only one that has ever really motivated me at all. I know what foods are bad for me and whats good for me, but when I am stressed and tired none of that matters, I want chocolate, or buns, or a G&T and the result is that I feel worse than ever. In an enjoyable, easy to understand way, without making you feel bad or guilty or feeling preached to Jason has helped me to understand exactly what is going on here and more importantly what to do about it. I don't need to lose weight but I do need more energy and to feel calmer. After just a week I feel better already, whilst undergoing a very stressful time, so I do know what I am talking about. I cannot recommend this book highly enough for anyone who has guilt about what they choose to eat and drink. I feel free, just like he promised. Try it, it works!!
