Premiere CS4
This is a really informative and easy to follow publication. Not only do you get the book but there are numerous lessons on the supplied DVD disc. You load all the lessons onto your hard drive then work through them at your own pace by following the instructions in the book, this is a very clever way of learning CS4. Once you have practiced on the supplied footage it is easy to apply the different techniques to your own video.
There are also some other useful tips and tricks to help get the best from your video making, such as composition, camera angles and shooting methods. Add to this the very descriptive and non jargon way in which it was written makes this a very good tool for learning CS4.Well done Amazon on price and delivery.

I find these books fairly hard going. It is easier if you can get an overview from a training video on the web and then use the book. My main gripe is that there is very poor service for the PAL user, everything seems to be NTSC. If a person is new or not really comfortable with settings then they miss the experience of watching the edits on a PAL RV or monitor.

Disappointed
The Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 Classroom in a Book seems lika a good book, but I would have been a lot happier with it had I been able to open the projects on the DVD on my Windows Vista PC. I get the Error message: File format not supported. Big disappointment.
