Seeing with your eyes
I really enjoyed looking at this book. Naturally, as it is a photography book, there were lots of pictures and I like that. One comment I would make though is that as I am a little short-sighted I would very much like to see an edition with great big bold text that I can see visually through my bad eyes. Nonetheless, cool pictures. I would like to re-iterate what the other reviewer has said though. It is definitely for the visual person. Be warned you non-visuals out there.

Unusual provocative images of our time
This book is for the visual person. It will suit those who can not only look at an image but really see what each image illustrates. Be prepared to think, to be shocked and to be inspired. Very few of the images are truly outstanding but it will help any photographer with the most important task, defining a style.

A Turkey
I am glad that the reputation of Magnum & its photographers does not rely on poorly produced books such as this.My review does not bring into question the quality of the images-they are superb-but one has to ask how Magnum & phaidon came to produce such a turkey.An embarrassment to modern printing standards.
