The HP Photosmart 435 digital camera delivers great digital snapshots with 3.1 effective MP resolution and up to 5x continuous digital zoom. Snap a photo and select your preferred destination - e-mail addresses, printers, and more - using HP Instant Share. Connect your camera to a computer and your photos are instantly sent. The camera also features streaming video capability that allows video capture which is limited only by the size of the camera's memory (16 MB internal memory and up to 128 MB SD/MMC memory card slot). On-camera manual controls and menus allow camera users to override automatic functions to add some creative touches. Help wizards act as a guide. Easily print without a computer via USB cable, or the camera's memory card. Optional dock enables effortless sharing of photos to computer (or select HP printers), recharging of batteries, and slide shows on TV using wireless remote.

Features

  • Take a photo and immediately choose from the back of the camera which destinations will receive the photo when the camera is reconnected to a PC. Two of the 32 available destinations are print options. Remaining destinations are downloaded from the PC and can be used for e-mail addresses, distribution lists, hpphoto.com, and more. Receivers get custom e-mails with thumbnail-size images that are viewed on the HP Instant Share home page - no large attachments, no downloads.
  • Direct photo printing allows you to attach your HP digital camera directly to an HP Photosmart printer or select all-in-one with a USB cable and print photos - no PC required. Using the LCD display and front-panel button on select HP Photosmart color inkjet printers, you can also print a page of thumbnail images directly from your digital camera via a USB connection.
  • HP Memories Disc Creator software allows photos to be arranged, previewed, and displayed in slide-show fashion - once they have been burned to a CD - using a TV and a DVD player or a computer with a CD or DVD-ROM drive. A music file and title slide can accompany the photos. The slide show can then be copied to other CDs, or printed as an album or as thumbnails. The software can store up to 499 digital images. The personalized slide show can be previewed and changed before it is archived to CD.

    Overall nice but3
    Uppers: Very light & compact, you can keep it inside your pocket and you will forget about it. Very easy to use, took me 10 minutes to figure the camera out. The price is cheap and the movie capture is not bad.

    Downers: One big downer was, alot of my photos came out smudged, which showed perfectly on the camera, but when I copied the pics to my PC, it was blured and smudge, so technically speaking the shutter speed is slow. The digital zoom isn't as good as I expected. The viewer is dead simple, with no indication of battery life or nothing. The digital zoom only works in LCD view mode, which sucks battery life. It struggles to control the light.

    Overall: Nice camera, when I was touring I could take my camera everywhere, where my friends with thier fancy digital SLR cameras couldn't.

    great wee camera . very easy to use with good results.
    sends pic by e-mail which is great fun as it is quick and easy to do , if your using video mode you better have a good stock of batteries , but thats the same with any camera ,

    A gift which is easy to use and a great intro to digital photography. I enjoy the camera which has a great feel and a smashing digital zoom. My 35mm may soon be a distant memory
