Looks with no substance ... returned item.2
I also bought this for my NV8 which doesn't appear to have had a case made specifically for it. It was a real squeeze to the extent that the very weak magnetic catch kept popping open. In fact this catch was so weak that it could be far too easily popped open even without the camera being inside.

I was also unimpressed by the level of protection that it felt like it would give. It has large openings at the top where the flap goes over, so there is almost zero weather or dust protection, and it could only cope with the lightest of impacts I think.

The only positive note I'd make is that it does indeed look good, but what's the point in good looks if it's completely useless?

My advice if you need a case for a NV8 or similar is to get the nice zip-up case by Crumpler that I got for a tenner from Boots - fits snuggly and offers good but basic protection. And comes in lots of colours!

Also fits the NV84
I bought this case for my NV8 because I couldn't find a case that was designed for the NV8. but when I put my NV8 in the case it fitted in great.

Looks nice but not great design3
I wanted to buy the Samsung designed case as I thought it would fit the camera I had spent so much money on perfectly. In fact the case looks nice - it's in leather - but you have to squeeze to get the camera in and it doesn't feel like it has been that well designed. There isn't any padding, so can't imagine this would give much protection from knocks.

However, on the positive side this case does look smart, and would certainly be fine to protect the camera from scratches etc.
