Customer Reviews

Good value drive4
This is my second drive of this model and I've had no problems with quality. It is made of plastic and won't survive abuse and its unrealistic to expect it to. At the end of the day it is an electronic device that needs to be treated with care - people seem to think it should survive any abuse which is ridiculous.

A few niggles with it: the U3 stuff I remove, I've never found it very useful and it causes Windows to map two drives which is bit of a kludge. As with most flash drives the read/write speeds are nothing special but perfectly acceptable.

At the end of the day it's 8GB of storage for a small amount of money in a very convenient format. For around £10 it's amazing value - as a comparison about four or so years ago a 1GB flash drive was about £70!

a bad review for something i love.2
I've had the 4 Gb san disk for a little over a year now-maybe 18months and lasted whilst i was travlling in and out of machines but i had the same as someone else where the black plastic section snapped apart but then i clipped it back together and it seemed fine.
since then it kept tkaing itself offline whithout warnign and the orange light going out. yesterday it took itself offline and i pulled it out to reload only to find the metal setcion still in the machine and all of my photos for the past six months, my website and my work lost. i'm mortificed, it's come straight off of the green elec board, so maybe i'll get my soldering iron out but failing that the USB stick i thought was amazing at the beginning has failed me. i came on here to buy another one but after more bad reviews i think im going to go for one with a emtal case!

No Problems Here5
As with all gadgets and gizmos some people will get a duffer. Luckily, that never seems to happen to me. This is a great memory stick, 8GB for under £11 - amazing value.

I have no worries about the quality as it seems sturdy enough to me. As with all this kind of thing I've created a folder on my laptop and backup my entire stick, that way if it does go south I still have all my important data.

Highly recommended!
