Attractive but flawed book3
This is well-presented and kids will like the illustrations, but virtually all the finger numbering is given. The result is that children can learn to play these pieces by just reading the numbers. They will play nice pieces and everyone will be impressed at how fast they learn but, if they want to play more difficult music, eventually they will have to learn to read the notes and this book is not going to teach them that in my opinion. Consequently they will have to go back to playing much simpler pieces in order to learn to read music. That has been my own experience at any rate.
