Basic how to pick up women guide.5
This isn't a story about the rules of the game, but a how to, pick up guide for men. It's about getting out there and getting it done. It is the how to guide that most men should read. It leaves out the BS and gives you the nuts and bolts. A high recommend, along with How to Be the Man Women Want: The Get More Confidence and Meet Better Women Guide to Dating

Not as good as The Game but worth a read3
I read, and absolutely loved, 'The Game' by the same author, Neil Strauss so I was looking forward to reading his second book, The Rules of The Game. Overall I would say that I enjoyed the book, and would recomend it, however there were some flaws, and it definitely wasn't as good as The Game.

Strauss attempts to deliver a one size fits all dating remedy for men across the world and the result is quite hit and miss. Some of the 'missions' that the book adivises one to attempt are pretty pointless, and will not be relevant for a lot of people. I also agree with some of the other reviews which mention the comic book style stories at the back of the book. These are quite fun to read but are nothing amazing, and they certainly don't offer much in the way of instruction on pick up.

However I did enjoy the book overall and would probably recomend it. It's not as comprehensive on the subject like other books such as 'The Natural Art of Seduction' by Richard La Ruina, one of the best PUAs this side of the pond who teaches a totally natural form of pick up, but it's a fun read and should probably be on the book shelf of any wannabe pick up artist.

As Exciting As Sliced Bread...1
My friend recommended this book after it turned him from "pick-up the trash" to "pick-up artist" in just one read. One thing you have to realise about this book is the fact that it is out to sell copies whilst playing on the insecure male's psyche. If you really feel that bad about yourself then it may be worth a read just to boost your ego and remind you that you're not the only one there with problems. If you are confident in yourself then it's about as exciting as sliced bread and just as useful... This is definitely one of those books that you use to prop up some your better reads.
