plenty of examples but assumes too much background knowledge
This book was part of an introductory electronic systems course in my university.
Having worked with book for months, I would say that this is an unsuitable book for an introductory course in circuit analysis. This is not because of the topics covered by the book, but because of the books way of explenation.
The book assumes too much background knowledge and is very pedantic in its explenations. It does not explain in an easy to understand, necessarily detailed steps on how to solve a problem by a complete beginner in the subject. However it does contain plenty of worked examples and plenty of unworked (but with answers) examples, thats the selling point of the book.
I would reccommend the book for anyone who has already got a grasp on the concepts covered by the book before hand for the reasons above. Although if it is the set text of your course, you should ideally buy it, but be warned of the above.
