Franco's "Design with Operational Amplifiers and Analog Integrated Circuits, 3e" is intended for a design-oriented course in applications with operational amplifiers and analog ICs. It also serves as a comprehensive reference for practicing engineers. This new edition includes enhanced pedagogy (additional problems, more in-depth coverage of negative feedback, more effective layout), updated technology (current-feedback and folded-cascode amplifiers, and low-voltage amplifiers), and increased topical coverage (current-feedback amplifiers, switching regulators and phase-locked loops).

Customer Reviews
VERY GOOD REFERENCE ON OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS.
Sergio Franco's book demonstrates important fundamental concepts of op-amps, which is crucial in the design of analog/digital circuits, and ICs. It should deserve a sixth star if it also comes with answers to selected problems on calculation and design. This is an excellent text for undergrads or working professionals in need of a good op-amp reference.
A "must have" book for audio/electronic engineers
I am studing audio engineering and I found it specially useful for understanding and developing basic analog systems. Also for begginers and advanced circuits with op.amps. It is written very clear so you wont loose by reading it, sure! I have no doubts it has been a right purchase. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about this part of electronic.
Op Amps
This is a really good book. Im a 2nd year student in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and this book has immensely helped me in Analogue Electronics this year. Last year I didnt have a guiding book and my analogue grade suffered, I knew the equations but had no intuitive understanding of the various circuits. This year, its been far better, as this book starts from the first principles of amplifiers and builds onto the more demanding topics like feedback and active filters etc. But yes, some background knowledge in circuit analysis is recommended.
