Well written, comprehensive book
I'm only part way through but a well written and comprehensive guide to electronics.

The quizes at the end of each chapter are a good idea but a number of their answers are wrong!

For example chapter 1 question 6 asks what a molecule is. The definition used by scientists is "a sufficiently stable electrically neutral group of at least two atoms in a definite arrangement held together by strong chemical bonds." ( from International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry )

However the book says the answer is any element with 1 atom!

My advice is take the answers they give with a pinch of salt - check them yourself in an encyclopedia.

Other than problems with the quizes the book is very good.

be better if the maths part was set out seperately like on a blackboard instead of being part of the text,

makes the maths harder to follow,
one or two mistakes with the maths as well,
but all in all a very good book to learn about electricity and electronics
