Honestly, blowing up another school was the last thing I wanted. As the son of a Greek god, I've had my share of near-death disaster. This summer, I didn't choose to battle the cheerleading squad, but when two hissing she-devils with fangs are heading straight for you, what's a half-blood meant to do? That was just the beginning. This is the one where my arch enemy, Luke, is looking for a way to invade our camp via an ancient labyrinth. If he succeeds, thousands of bloodthirsty monsters will attack. So it's goodbye sunshine, hello darkness as four of us descend into the terrifying underground and beyond . . . Gripping, funny and hugely original – readers aged 10+ will be desperate for more in this award-winning series!

'I can't think of a child of 10-plus who could fail to enjoy Percy's adventures ... the fusion of the magical with the mundane and modern gives the series its edge' - Amanda Craig, The Times 'Funny and fast-paced ... Percy is a hero that every kid will want to emulate' Sunday Express 'Funny ... very exciting ... but it's the storytelling that will get readers hooked. After all, this is the stuff of legends' Guardian 'Vastly entertaining' Independent 'Cool, mad and very funny!' Flipside

Another great mythical tale for Percy Jackson
Well i read this a few weeks ago. n i have to say it didnt let me down. The series has far surpassed my favorite series of books Artemis Fowl which takes some doing.
Percy once again finds him self on a quest with Anabeth and Grover and the return of Tyson. Luke has discovered the ancient labyrinth from the greek myths and hopes to lead Kronoses forces through to destroy camp half blood. It introduced some more interesting characters such as new love interests n further developes the relationships with Percy and Annabeth.
The writing is brilliant as ever and wont let you put this book down, each chapter remaining as exciting as the last. I wont tell you what happens in the book as its too good to be spoiled like that..
I highly reccommend this to all. Its taken this superb series of books even further and i simply cant wait for the next.
Great entertainment!
Fantastic story for both kids and adults. My daughter and I are currently reading the set and are both enjoying them enormously (which is rare to both enjoy the same things as we are so not alike!). Fab!!
Better and Better!!!!!!
I've read the first three Percy Jackson books and this one is definitely the best. It has a brilliant twist to the end to continue to the next book. There's non stop action it's funny thrilling and action packed all the way through. I would definitely recommend this but read the first three to know how the characters came into the story and to know how the story came to the fourth book.
