Max strikes again !!!
I found this book absolutely thrilling, even though I bought it for my daughter ! I think it is very adult in the way it is written, especially after having been initially put off when I saw that it was aimed at the teenage market. I found myself carrying the book from room to room with me, and was desperate to know what would happen next. I was slightly disappointed that it didn't finish at the end, so now I am on a quest to get the next in the series. I love all the characters, they are detailed and individual in their personalities, you really feel for them, and they would make a great movie! A must read for everyone who likes something original and different !!!!!
THIS BOOK FLIES! The Angel Experiment
The Angel Experiment is an action filled suspense novel by an extremely talented writer.
James Patterson is able to keep the readers' full attention throughout the book using twisted hooks and an amazing storyline. The story is based on a girl named Max who has genetically been given wings. She spent nearly all her life in a laboratory and the book is mainly targeted at her struggle to live life as a runaway when her and her companions escape.
The story keeps a fast energetic pace from begining to end and has been carefully put together using clear, exciting and clever writing techniques.
The book ends with a cliff-hanger leaving readers hungry for the sequel "Schools out forever"that is yet to be released.
The Angel Experminent is a book I'd recomend to teens and older readers, who appreiciate a good read and have time to read a book that's utterly unputdownable- It really is amazing!
This is definetly a book you'd be mad to miss out on!

Action packed - a hit for teenagers
If your youngster is fed up of Harry Potter and does not want to read Andy McNab or Anthony Horowicz then this is maybe the book for them. My son loved it and has read it ten times or more. He cried at the end the first time he read it and he doesn't usually get moved by books at all. It's a story that moves at break neck pace and there are three parallel stories - the one that hooked me the most was the story of what happens to Angel in the lab. Of course, as an adult you can see where the strings are being pulled; Angel, your six year old sister, being bullied? What big brother wouldn't want to rescue her? Contemporary issues are explored here: genetic testing, cloning, etc. It also explores ideas of loyalty and friendship. It's a bit too American at times for my taste, but it is a gripping story nonetheless and I can see why my son enjoyed it so much. It would be a great buy for a reluctant reader too, because the chapters are very short (2 sides on average), the print is largeish and the voccabulary is simple. Sentences are short and very easy to understand.
All in all, highly recommended.
