Very disapointed and frustrated!! Terrible ending !!
This book had everything to be a favorite, a keeper, but the end it's really horrible ( so much that i wanted to give it back to the store and never put my eyes on him again).
Anne and James are happily married, everything seems to be perfect, but it isn't.
Alex, is James best friend and when he arrives at their home , for the Summer,everything changes.Anne and Alex are atracted to each other from the beggining, and James doesn't seem to mind , but then things get more serious than they thought. It was supposed to be just a Summer fling, but it becomes something more powerful( something neither of them ( Alex and Anne )can resist.
Anne falls in love with Alex,but never stops loving James, Alex falls in love with Anne , but he also loves James and James loves them both; it's a mess but it could be simple; they already had a relationship going on and James gives Anne the opportunity to stay with them both !!
I loved the caracters, Anne, James and Alex, they are wonderfull. It's rare to see so much emotion on this genre, but i love when it happens, and that's why i was so disappointed !!This was my first book from Megan Hart, and the last one ; i don't want to repeat such experience of reading a book with do much pleasure and than endind it feeling so unhappy.
The end should have been different,if it was i would give a 5 star review.

Disappointing.........
I read some negative reviews before buying, but thought I would get it anyway as I like Menage stories. This one did not have a true Menage, which was disappointing, but also, there was heartache as the newcomer felt that he had to leave, despite loving both the male and female leads. It seemed as if there were 2 separate couples, not a Menage-a-trois, with the hubby/wife vs wife/bestfriend. Yes, there was love, but it ended with a broken love affair and a marriage that needed work to mend it. Not a happy tale, and one I wished I'd never read.
