Customer Reviews

excellent5
As a first time owner of a trained gundog, I have found this book to be very useful and do not hesitate to recommend it to any other dog owner. It gives me much more confidence in looking after my dog properly and the added benefit of not wasting time and money at the vets when it is not necessary.

This book saved my bitches life.5
Having borrowed this book from a close friend anddog breeder when my Parson Russell bitch was about to deliver her first litter of pups it potentially saved her life and me a vets bill. Having delivered 5 healthy puppies I noticed umbilical cord protruding from her, after waiting for quite a considerable amount of time following the delivery, I was sterting to grow concerned. Having this book available I looked up the section which deals with this type of problem. Following the advice given I managed to remove the placenta which was promptly followed by another. If the book had not been to hand my bitch at worst could have died of septicemia.

A necessary reference for every dog owner5
This is a wonderful reference book for dog owners. I have worked as a veterinary assistant for over ten years, and this is the first book I have found that explains medical diagnoses and solutions in such a plain and easy to understand manner. I use it for my own dog, and recommend it to all other dog owners I know as well!
