Inspiring Book on the Power of Yoga to Heal
For those who want to practice therapeutic yoga, this is THE book. The author, Dr. Timothy McCall is both a yogi and a doctor. In the first chapters he explains the general health benefits of yoga, looking at scientific research and personal accounts of people who have used yoga to help them recover from injury, post-operations and chronic disease, etc. Then he shows how some practitioners have used yoga for different health problems, ranging from arthritis to asthma, HIV/AIDS, depression, overweight, heart disease, headaches, cancer, etc.. A very useful tool for those who wish to improve their general well-being and improve their chances of recovering with particular ailments.
