Product Description

The Annual Discworld Calendar is an inspired collection of paintings by award-winning illustrators who give us their own unique interpretations of Terry Pratchett's phenomal Discworld. Each full-page illustration also appears on the back; there are biographies of the artists as well as the author on the inside front page. The calendar dates are exhaustively researched and include major real-time calendrical data for the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States. It also includes notable Discworld dates like the Creator's Birthday, Samedi Nuite Morte, and the Uberwald League of Temperance Day (Remember: Not One Drop!). Artists briefed include Edward Miller, Les Edwards, Sandy Nightingale, Jackie Morris, David Frankland, David Wyatt, and, of course, Stephen Player and Paul Kidby, Terry Pratchett's favourite portrayers of the Discworld.

fantastic Pratchett calendar5
Once again an another fantastic collection of art work showing the vast arrey of Terry Pratchett lovable characters.
Thank you to all the artists.

Fave calendar every year5
Being that I live in the US and am a huge Pratchett fan the only way to get this calendar is to get it through Amazon.UK. Love this calendar every year, and I love knowing that only a select few of us here have it. I look forward to every month with the new and wonderful art work!

Well, that's one Xmas present sorted out5
Having been impressed by last year's calendar so much, the decision on which calendar to have on my wall next year was an easy one. All the artists are very talented and their paintings are good enough to re-use them afterwards in small picture frames.

Curiously the thing I like best about their visions is that none of them depict the Discworld and the characters that exists in my own head, and yet I still like them!
