About the Author
Harry Eastwood believes that loving cake does not have to be a punishment, either for your health or for your waistline. As she has illustrated in both the British and US versions of Cook Yourself Thin, it's entirely possible to have your cake and eat it - if you know how ... Harry's passion for food is the driving force behind her writing. She sees food as a language, alive with ingredients. These characters behave in different ways, and have funny little habits of their own. Harry is currently dividing her time between London and New York, working on various writing and television projects. She continues to love chocolate.

Yummmmmm5
On the cover of this book is a large, gooey, sumptuous and thoroughly naughty looking chocolate cake, and all I want to do is shove my finger right into the icing. But the great thing is - it's a LIGHT CHOCOLATE CAKE! And it's made with little butter but lots of butternut squash! Therefore we are all justified in counting this cake as one of our five-a-day, and the larger the slab the healthier we are being as far as I'm concerned.
This is the theme that runs throughout the book's deliciously designed, illustrated and written pages - fun and fabulous cakes and cupcakes without all the fat. I would recommend Harry's book to anyone and everyone who just wants to have their cake and jolly well eat it.

Let them eat cake5
I would strongly recommend this book for people who don't eat wheat. The cakes taste like normal cakes but use vegetables instead of wheat.I bought it last week and we had a try at one of the recipes over the weekend. The recipes are easy to follow and have lots of helpful hints.

D for Delicious!5
This book is absolutely brilliant. I had come across Harry before on Cook Yourself Thin and made some of her other cake recipies (like that amazing chocolate fudge cake one) and was so pleased to see this book. Not only is it a beautiful book but the cakes are incredible - stuffed full of veg and you would NEVER know!
It's on my birthday and christmas list for every mother I know - quite literally.
