Not sure this novel thing is working???
Star Struck is very much in the same style as Star, only the whole book is this time focused about Pams relationship with Tommy Lee. It's pretty pornographic, worse than the first, but like the first, seriously lacks any depth. You can't really 'get into it' if you know what I mean? For me it was disappointing, but then, so was the first. I'm really not sure about Pam's novel writing skills, with or without the help of Eric Shaw Quinn, the ghost writer. Another annoying ending, leaving you to wait probably another year for the next instalment. If you liked Star, you'll probably like this, but for me, there are far better reads around than this one. Sorry Pam!
A Fantastic Sequel
"Star Struck", the sequel to Pamela Anderson's best-selling debut novel "Star" is another brilliant read from the former Playboy model. The book picks up where the first one left off and is exciting and sexy from the very beginning.
The novel chronicles Star's troubled marriage to her abusive rocker husband - once again, the story is a thinly veiled version of Anderson's own life - and her attempts at breaking Hollywood in her new film Livewire. The book is an amusing snapshot of life in Hollywood and what Anderson remembers of her experiences there.
If you liked "Star", then you should enjoy this excellent sequel, which will once again hopefully leave you wanting more with its open ending.
Stick to the modelling, Pammy!
What a complete bore. After reading and enjoying 'Star' I assumed I would enjoy 'Star Struck', unfortunately not! This book has no real story line other than sex, which is the books main focus throughout. The story is dull and unrealistic. A complete and utter shambles with an even worse ending! Pammy should never have agreed to put her name to this book- what an embarrassment!
