A Test Saviour
I'm truly grateful to the Cliff Notes people for writing this book. It has really helped a great deal. I could litteraly see my (GRE)score crawling up, as I got through the book. I went from the bottom to way over 700 on the math section.
A great feature of the book is the diagnosis test that precedes every chapter. These tests tell you which pages you need to read, and which you can skip, and thereby saving you of a lot of time. The book uses the highest denominator of the standardized tests which I actually found to be an advantage when studying for the GRE. Giving you the opportunity to study beyond what you need to know is great practice and provides the student with a sense of security. It is definitely an advantage if you want to reach the top percent.
The book is divided into several sections, covering arithmic, algebra, geometry, word problems, quantitative comparison, and general strategy. The book is full of practice questions along the way, as well as a longer practice section in the back.
