A decent little font of knowledge
With just a few exceptions the 'Workshop Practice' series is a very useful set of books. This particular book, 'Drills, Taps and Dies' gives the average home DIYer a good grounding in the various different types of tool available in this area. I would say this should be a standard item for both young mechanics/engineers (do we have any in this country still?) in school libraries and also for us older wannabees at home.
Don't think is going to be a boring book (sorry for the pun) if you are genuinely interested in engineering then get a copy, it's cheap enough after all.
