The Muscle Book4
This book is a fantastic basic muscle directory - it explains it as it is - the important muscles are named and located and it is a great first stage for muscle anatomy for massage or similar. The explanations of the origins ,insertions and actions of the muscles are succinct and clear.
My only critcism is that perhaps it is a little shallow - but it covers the necessary basics and prepares the reader to move onto the next stage.

Don't bother buying it.1
I was told to buy this book for the ITEC Anatomy, Physiology and Massage course, but was really disappointed with it. It only shows a fraction of the muscles you'll need to learn and contains hardly anything information about the individual muscles. Though a bit more expensive, you're better off buying "Atlas of Skeletal Muscles" by Robert Stone and Judith Stone.

Excellent book for key muscle information.5
Written with students in mind, this book takes each muscle and shows where it is in the body, what it looks like, where it's insertion and origin are, and also tells you about anything that may affect the muscle that you wouldn't think of (i.e. particular nutrient requirements).
