A brilliant successor to Untitled. Street Art in the Counterculture, this book about street art has again been created without the collaboration of the artists and certainly without the permission of the wall owners. Works featured are all recent creations and many exhibit the vile passions that rage between old schools and new. There are blatant statements that embody outrageous lies, articles laced with satire, plus cynical synopses of attempts to commercialize street art and make it fashionable via celebrity endorsement. Consideration is given to the question What the hell is it about the color grey that makes it appeal the powers that be and their ridiculous minions? and Outsider Art - is it an expression of artistic impulse without interference from the idea of personal gain?
All of this amongst a collection of graffiti collected from all over the world and preserved on these pages before the legions employed to destroy them chip them off the walls. Artists featured include Banksy, Miss Van, Dan Witz, Ron English, Obey, Blek le Rat, Swoon, Os Gemeos, and Herakut.

From the Publisher
Every transcendental movement has it's history books. Guy Debord's Spectalist Manifesto and The Sex Pistols' Never Mind the Bollocks spring to mind.
This is ours . . .
From the Author
Ever notice that your life is meaningless?
Well I had the same problem until I discovered street art. I liked it so much I bought the rights to it. Within ten days my life was filled with a deep sense of purpose and spiritual depth. You too can easily access these feelings with my special package.
I'm so confident you'll love it I've compiled all of the best bits and put them into this handy for volume so it can change your life too.
Don't take my word for it. Just listen to some of my satisfied customers.

Buy it for Nola
I picked up Untitled II at the Banksy Bristol Museum show in August. It's a wonderful companion to vol 1 and seems to carry on chronologically where Untitled left off.
It's a real mash up of street work and includes a feature on Dolk and Pobel putting up some amazing work in an abandoned fishing village in Norway. There's also a whole section given over to Banksy and Swoon hitting up Nola.
The book is part critique and part laugh a minute which makes for an interesting read but the books real strength is that it features such a stunning breadth of work from around the world.
It just goes to show that creativity on the streets is still very much alive and kicking. It's worth buying for the Nola work on it's own.
