more basic, more usefull
Just took posession of the third volume of this series. I liked volume 2 (the guard) where focus is on guard and attacks from guard, volume 1 (passing the guard) can only often be put to use when you're more advanced, not a stage I am in yet. As a beginner, I usually end up on my back, in the guard. Passing someone's guard is only the next level. Volume 3 concentrates on regaining guard position... They should have started with volume 3, down to volume 1.
Comparison: pictures are better than in vol 1 and 2, and I like the 'summary pages' in it.
