Manhattan Review's origin can be traced directly to an
Ivy-League MBA classroom in 1999. While lecturing on advanced quantitative
subjects to MBAs at Columbia University Graduate School of Business
(Columbia Business School) in New York City, Dr. Joern Meissner was asked
by his students to assist their friends, who were frustrated with
