Because life is too short to eat food you don't like...5
...and be overweight, too. And that is why I loved this weight loss book. The author really puts it all out there and I liked her attitude. The plan is simple and really opened my eyes to what could be. Weight loss has been too over-hyped and the only real way to lose has been consistently overlooked. This is the only book I have read that didn't want me to totally overhaul my eating habits. I did have to modify, that's for sure, but I didn't have to start eating all raw or all vegan or all meat. If you want to lose weight and just want a simple plan in order to do just that, then this is the book for you. It's now my fav weight loss book and I am recommending it friends and certainly family.

Easy to read, easy to understand, easier to do!5
I have gone thru so many diet books it's amazing. Not once have I found a system I could readidly incorporate into my life. That is, until now. In this book, the author basically tells how she lost the weight and kept it off. And it's so easy to do! I was practically slapping myself upside the dead with the occassional 'doh!' as I read this. What's even better is the simple fact that by just applying a few of her principals, I am already on my way to a slimmer figure. So glad I picked this one up. It stays on my bookshelf indefinitely.

My go-to weight loss book.5
I have read a few diet books in my time and they all basically say the same thing--or at least I think they do--eat these foods and lose weight. I translate that to mean, eat these foods, be miserable for a while and lose weight. While that's all well and good, I don't necessarily like being miserable and I certainly don't enjoy depriving myself of foods I like to eat. However, I did need to do something about these few pounds I've put on and when I came across this book, I fully expected it to be filled with fluff and yet another extreme diet that I would do for a few weeks and then give up on. Not so! This isn't a book about diet, but from an author who also got fed up with diets--as she says throughtout the book--and decided to do it her way. And let's just say, it works!

Now I can eat and not feel tired, not feel miserable and not feel bloated. Loved the book, the attitude and the plan. I am very glad I got this one and it will be become my go-to book on weight loss from here on out. I can already see the difference just making the few changes the author lists and I know this is one I will be able to keep up with.
