About the Author
Brian L. Weiss, M.D., is a psychiatrist who lives and practices in Miami, Florida. He’s a graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, and is the former Chairman of Psychiatry at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Dr. Weiss is the author of Many Lives, Many Masters; Only Love Is Real; Messages from the Masters; Through Time and Healing; Mirrors of Time; and Meditation.

Worth buying for the excellent CD!!!!!
This book comes with a free CD that can take you on a relaxed journey back in time. First to your childhood and then to a time before. If you, like so many people, are searching to make sense of this confusing and complicated world and, if you want to explore the concept of reincarnation, buy this book, use the CD and see for yourself that there REALLY IS life before life before life before life before life etc

My Australian friend borrowed this CD and went back to a life in Scotland. She found herself wearing a kilt and walking through the pine woods, smelling the damp earth and feeling sad. Amazingly she has always had a soft spot for and a real affinity with Scottish people ('Scotties' as she calls them!) - what do you think? Coincidence? Or time to buy this book and see for yourself!

Really, Interesting I want to know more
I really enjoyed reading this book, I could not put down for a couple of days. I gave it four stars, because I was left wanting to know more about past lives, perhaps I should read some more of Brian Weiss's books. I have tried the CD a couple of times now, but each time I fell asleep, better luck next time.

Lower impact than other CD's
Brian Weiss is overly wordy as a previous reviewer commented and this becomes more of a distraction than assistance i trying to relax, unless you find it exceptionally easy to switch off, and allow the words to flow over you. This CD is a bit too rich in New Age 'isms, and strays away from a single purpose. In this sense its influence is diluted. The other CD's on regression however are interesting in their effects and are worth persisting with. It is quite normal to fall asleep during this recordings. The mind is fully interactive with or without your conscious involvement.
A few too many words and some irritating background sounds spoil what would otherwise be an interesting experience in this instance.
As an addendum, it is safe to use, there are no subliminal messages nor occult intentions. It is a useful tool for learning the art of relaxation of body and mind/brain.
