Great pocketbook incl. fantastic real world phrases
Have used the book several times in Italy now, and it has been a great help. The phonetic spelling assists greatly when ordering at a non-english speaking restaurant for instance. We also had our hotel staff in stitches laughing at some of the 'slang' or more real world phrases we used that are listed in the book, that rarely appear in phrase books. Could be particularly useful for women travelling alone in Italy where 'get lost' and 'drop dead' may come in handy.. Also bought the French version and only wish Rick Steeves did more countries. highly recommended
